Shahid spending quality time with amrita

Kareena Kapoor broke up with Shahid Kapur because she suspected that there was something brewing between Shahid and his Vivaah heroine, Amrita Rao. The actor became very friendly with Vidya Balan while filming for Kismet Connection and the duo frequently is said to have met up after having returned from their Canad schedule. Shahid was later seen cozying up with tennis star Sania Mirza in a suburban five star hotel. Here's a new twist to the Shahid-Sania story. Amrita Rao, who is allegedly responsible for Shahid-Kareena break-up, is back in his life.

On Tuesday evening, Shahid and Amrita were seen at Fame Adlabs in Andheri, where the duo watched the 11 pm show of Welcome. Shahid, who was dressed in a white shirt and blue denims, and a skirt-clad Amrita arrived at the multiplex in the former's grey Mercedes. Close on the heels were Shahid's father Pankaj Kapur and his wife Supriya Pathak, who were in a different car.

An eyewitness, who sat behind them, informs, "Amrita looked very comfortable with Shahid even in Pankaj Kapur's presence. They occupied the second row in the Gold section."

Obviously, the duo attracted a lot of unwanted attention. Amrita was whisked away through the back-door half-an-hour before the film got over. After the screening, Shahid came out with Pankaj and Supriya, and they drove off in their respective cars.

Mumbai Mirror (October 4, 2007) was the first to report Shahid's proximity with Amrita. We had then said, "Kareena had begun to suspect Shahid's proximity with Amrita when he was shooting with her for Sooraj Barjatya's Vivaah. The seeds of doubt were sown in Kareena's mind when she paid a surprise visit on the sets of Sooraj Barjatya's Vivaah. She saw Amrita coming out of Shahid's vanity van and didn't quite like it. Her doubts were confirmed when Amrita bought an apartment close to Shahid's Yari Road pad."

Amrita Rao has acted with Shahid Kapoor in Ishq Vishk, Shikhar and Vivaah. While Amrita has always maintained that her chemistry with Shahid sizzles only on-screen, it's a different story that the duo shares camaraderie off-screen too.
