Akshay Kumar goes to Caribbean for New Year


He's had an excellent 2007. And now, to bring in 2008, Akshay Kumar is going to Caribbean on a well-deserved holiday with his family.

Family, Akshay has said time and again, is his top priority. And with the New Year around the corner, the actor is packing his bags and leaving on an eight-day trip to the Caribbean islands along with wife Twinkle Khanna and son Aarav.

Akshay, who maintains that he is a better father than an actor, says the vacation has been due a long time.

Akki will be taking his family for a cruise in the Caribbean.

This would be Akshay's second visit to the islands after his trip early this year when he went there to watch the cricket world cup.

Looking back, Akshay thinks he has had a wonderful year. All his films – Namastey London , Heyy Babyy , Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Welcome – have done very well at the box-office.

Next year, too, Akki will have four releases Tashan , Singh Is King , 'Chandni Chowk to China', and Eight By Ten . The actor hopes his good run will continue in 2008 as well.
