Abhishek Bachchan is apparently not happy with the last shoot schedule of Drona and has asked his friend and director Goldie Behl to re-shoot the climax. The climax took over 40 days to shoot.
A source at Rose Movies (the production house) says, "We thought that the filming was over but it seems we might be re-shooting a major chunk of the climax again as Abhishek didn't like what was shot in the last scehdule. But we will be able to shoot only after Abhishek returns from Jaipur, where he is busy with Rayesh Omprakash Mehra's Dilli 6."
An industry insider says, "Eros International (the presenter) is giving money for Drona. They have been really patient and given their full support to the production house, even though they have gone over budget twice. But one wonders how much this re-shoot is going to cost them this time around."
Visual effects
Producer Shristi Behl Arya says, "It's untrue. We are not re-shooting. I have just finished shooting a week back, and am now waiting for post production to start. There are lots of visual effects in the film which takes a long time to complete."
Regarding the release date (June 27) given by Eros, Shrishti says, "I have not given that date. Eros International would be the right people to answer this. I want to finish the post production before I can come up with a release date."
