Shahid still in touch with ex-girlfriend

Kareena opts out of show due to ex-boyfriend Shahid's presence

Shahid Kapur recently claimed that he is still in touch with ex-girlfriend Kareena, but Kareena claims that although they are in touch it is on a superficial level. Well obviously the ex-couple did not part on very good terms. Now Kareena has moved on and is dating Saif Ali Khan, hence she has perhaps decided to stay clear of her ex-Shahid. Recently Kareena who was almost about to do a show, decided to opt out of it at the last minute as she came to know that her ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapur was also to be a part of the same show.

Kareena was in talks with members from Star TV for the Star Gold Sabse Favourite Kaun show to perform to her songs from her film Jab We Met. The actress was quite keen to do the solo act, but as soon as she learnt that Shahid had also been approached for the show and had given his assent, she decided to opt out citing date problems. In spite of giving their hit film Jab We Met, Kareena is now uncomfortable about working with Shahid. In fact even while promoting Jab We Met; both Shahid and Kareena never attended any promotional events together. Both stars have claimed that they are professionals and would work with the other if a good opportunity came their way.

Kareena is currently shooting for a television commercial but she will be back in town soon. A source says "Understandably she wanted to avoid any kind of awkwardness with Shahid. They didn't part ways on a good note and they have been avoiding each other for a while now." The organizers of the Star Gold show confirm that Shahid will be doing their show but refuse to say much about Kareena. On whether Kareena was doing the show, Samar Khan simply said "The channel was talking to the actors. You have to check with them."

Meanwhile Kareena will also be spending some quality time with beau Saif Ali Khan in Bangkok where he is shooting for Kunal Kohli's film with Rani Mukherjee. Kareena will be taking a short break during Christmas and New Year to spend time with Saif in Bangkok. She will then resume work from January 2008.

I hope they get back together! 😭

i love shahid but personally dnt like kareena, but it says they didnt do ne promotion for JWM together, but they came on nach baliye together!
