It's not about the family... if it was a poor Muslim family, Quiad-e-Azam would've probably accepted it. His problem was the religion.
If you study Islam in depth, then you'll know why Quiad-e-Azam disowned her.. and why he didn't want his DAUGHTER to marry a Non-Muslim.
Sorry,I know I do sound extremely harsh and very rude.I don't wanna drag religion into this or have any intention of doing so.It's not a matter of religion. When it comes to history,I'm a complete illitrate and very ignorant. But I really don't like the fact that any girl abandons her parents for some random guy who comes into her life.I find it really sad that her dad brought her up just to see this day, that his daughter leaves him.😭
For me,the people who disobey their parents don't go as far as people who do obey their parents go.That's just my opinion though.😊LOL,I'm no goody good girl myself,I give my parents the hardest time........but that's what kids are supposed to do.😆After god,my parents are most superior and I hold very high regard for them.If my parents approve the guy I want to marry,I'll marry him but if he's not approved......I won't.After all, parents know what's best. They have alot more experience.
This isn't really related to any of the history but just my point of view.😛
