Salman and his ammi...so sweet pic

The actor organised a cozy get-together with his close friends at his Bandra pad. The usual lot, including Sajid Nadiadwala, Sajid-Wajid, Anil Sharma and many others attended the party.

Salman dropped in just to be with his mother, Salma for the day. Our source says, "When Salman arrived in the evening, everybody was pleasantly surprised. It's impossible for him to stay away on his mother's birthday."

"Salman was in Hyderabad shooting for Boney Kapoor's Wanted Dead or Alive with Prabhu Deva. He requested them to let him fly to Mumbai for the day and they immediately agreed. He was as happy as a child as he rushed to the airport to take a flight for Mumbai. He called his close friends over to his Bandra residence for a small party," he adds.

The birthday bash continued till late in the night. The source says, "Salman was the charming host, interacting with everybody present. All the guests left after a big dinner. Salman left for Hyderabad early, next morning."

So, what did Salman gift his mother? Our source says, "Salman prefers to keep these things personal. However, it's a well-known fact that nothing is more important to him than his ammi."

Salman Khan definitely lives up to his reputation of being a family man. On his mother's birthday, he sprang a surprise on everybody by flying down from Hyderabad where he was shooting for Boney Kapoor's Wanted-dead or Alive.
