rani ki deewani? Madhuri Dixit and Rani Mukerji Madhuri Dixit is universally liked but the actress who Mads admires is Rani Mukerji. She says in a recent interview, "I really love the way Rani pulls in the audience." Apparently, Mads has not missed any of Rani's movies even in the US. She says, "I really loved Rani in Black. She was commendable." Yea yea, any surprises why Mads is acting so loyal to the Yash Raj camp even in this regard? We're sure you get our drift! mid-day.com

Rani and Madhuri have formed a mutual admiration society. I remember some time back Madhuri said that she rarely watches Hindi movies😉. But now she says she watched all the films and in one interview listed almost all the films😆.

May be she wants YRF to cast them together

^^Read an article that Rani, Preity and all are already getting replaced by younger lot. So what roles would be there for Mads and Rani, I wonder.

But both of them together in a movie would be great provided they have a good script and no Kunal Kapoor.

Its true, most of the successfull actresses from the past decade are so are in their 30s to 40s - which means all plots involving a college days/youthful backdrop will only give them the role of an adhyapak... (unless it is SRKs character going back to school 😆 ).

Hopefully... instead of this phenomenon pushing these talented actresses into the background because of their age, it should stimulate plots/storylines new to the Bolly film genera.

Aaja Nachle was a great concept which suited Madhuri's age and expertise (now whether they effectively portrayed the concept, I am not too sure - didnt watch the movie yet 😃 ).

It's called versatility:

On first episode you cross your legs, sit on the sofa, don't touch Karan's "koffee" or coffee, and save Kajol and Srk from a crashing airplane instead of yourself (SRK - how swwwweeeeeeeettt *thinks in his head - I wonder if the audience will understand my subtle wittiness and remember Tina kept saying that to Rahul on KKHH, directorial debut of our host *)
