"No questions on Salman, please" I'm expecting the mandatory warning as Katrina Kaif slides into the settee opposite me.

"What no warning?"I ask in surprise.
Katrina grins,"No!I've learnt to tackle all those questions"
"Great!"I tell her,gleefully."Let me now try to extract all the info I can about Salman"
"Try all you want,"she smiles impishly as she stretches out.
Congratulations.Partner turned out to be a big hit!
Thanks.It has been the biggest hit of my career so far.I really enjoyed working on this movie.
What do you make of your career uptil now?
I see myself improving constantly.You can learn a lot watching what other stars do on and off the sets.When I watch Akshay I find him so focused on what he is doing.
You know I haven't liked Salman in so many of his movies.But I feel he has tremendous energy on screen so I observe him closely on sets.
How does Salman react to your criticism?
He just looks at me as if I don't know what I'm talking about.He has a point.Those movies are all huge hits,so it really does not matter what I think of them.I mean,if I had a hit film and you did not like it,I'd say who cares.
Are you more easily accepted now than say three years ago?
I certainly hope so.For any other girl one hit would have been enough to prove themselves but not for me.
Why do you say that?
In my case,there's my personal life people like to focus on constantly.They are too caught up in that aspect.
Because,Salman is such a huge star it is understandable.But,every move of yours is scrutinized.There is too much speculation.
Are you competative when it comes to your career?
No,actually,I don't think I am.Career is not everything.Healthy competition is fine with me.
What's the one thing you hate about your appearance?
My tendency to gain weight.
What's the one trait you hate about yourself?
I am not very outgoing and it takes me a lot of time to trust a person.Also,I have a very bad temper.
So when you get angry,what do you do?
I just give myself 15 minutes and than think rationally about it and this works.
If you were to be granted three wishes what would it be?
I cannot see a loved one in pain.So,I guess I would want my loved ones to be happy because if they are happy,I would be happy.
Tell us three things we don't know about you.
I'm very sensitive.
I have a bad temper.
I love kids.
Okay lets talk personal,what attracts you to a man?
It would be his persona,his attitude,the way he speaks.He has to have a sense of humour,I hate those morose types.When you look at each other there has to be a connection.
What does love mean to you?
True love means you are allowing a mirror to be held up and all your flaws are exposed.It is completely loving the man for who he is and it does not change with age,looks etc.
Tell us something we don't know about Salman Khan.
He has a great sense of humour.
He loves children.
He has a very big heart and has enourmous love in him.
What's your favourite thing about being Famous?
That so many people love you even without knowing you personally.
What is the worst thing?
Fasle stories.
There is a lot of speculation about your relationship with Salman.
They have been writing stories about Salman and me for years now.That is a part of our profession.But,I hate that.Recently,they spread rumours about Salman interfering in my films and that tick me off.It is very unfair to write like this about Salman just because he does not retort back.But,I cannot sit back and see all this happening.I will fight against anyone talking rubbish about my family and friends.
There are rumours linking Salman with Lara.Does it bother you?
You just answered your own question.Rumours means false news.All I will say is that Salman sells the most and the media is cashing in on this.
What is the most expensive thing you bought recently?
It has to be a black leather jacket I bought for somebody.Don't ask me who.The
jacket is custom made of pure leather and cost me a whopping amount.
What are your most prized posessions?
The earrings I got for my birthday.Again,no,I am not telling you who gave them to me.
Why don't you speak about Salman?
Salman is a very private person and it is out of my respect for his privacy that I do not like speaking about my personal life.
Okay,How would you describe your relationship with Salman in one word?
Happines.Lots of Happiness.Touch wood.
What if you were to meet Aishwarya Rai in a lift?
I don't think she will have anything to say to me or I'll have anything to say to her.I'l probably just say "Hi.."
What if your partner cheated on you?
It would be awful but I trust the person enough not to do so.
What do you value most in your friends?
Loyalty.Frankly,I do not have many friends in the industry.I just do my work and get back home.I don't see the point in having too many friends espeacially in this profession.
Who do you take as your friends?
I have my sisters.Sajid Nadiadwala and David Dhawan keep coming home.Niketan,Arjun(Boney Kapoor's son),Sohail,Malaika,Arbaaz are all good friends.The people I confide most in are my second eldest sister Catherine and Alvira(Salman Khan's sister).
Do you prefer life in London or Mumbai.
Now,Mumbai is my home.I have family and friends there.Although,my mom and my sisters are with me in Australia,I can't wait to get back to India.You realize how much attached you are to your loved ones,when you are away from them.
