Amisha's 'S' Sentiment Stopped After Flo

Sentiments are of different kinds in film industry. Here is an interesting thing. Bollywood actress Amisha Patil assumed that the letter-'S' would be beneficial for her and hence named all her characters in films starting with letter-'S'. Almost the first 8 films of her have followed this sentiment. After a few flops are observed then the sentiment was shelved.

In her first film 'Kaho Na Pyar Hai' her name was Sonia Saxena. Then in Badri she was Sarayu. In Gadar she was Sakina. In Zindagi Ka Safar she was 'Sarena Devan'. In Kranthi she was called Sanjana Roy. In 'Kya Yehi Pyar Hai' she was called Sandhya. In the films 'Aap Mujhe Achcha Lagne Lage' and 'Yeh Hai Jalwa' she was Sapna and Sonia Singh respectively. Did you see? All her character-names started with letter-S. After these films, she shelved that sentiment and acted with other names like Priya, Jo and all.
