Sonam Kapoor aunt of Ranbir Kapoor???

Rumors are flying thick that sonam kapoor & ranbir kapoor are quite the offscreen couple

as well & are seeing each other, they have known each other & have been since childhood & gradually it

became as it always happens , but hey aint sonam kapoor ranbir's aunt ? the seems to have ignored

this completely or bhansali has them off big time . Surinder Kapoor (Anil Kapoor's dad) is a cousin of

Prithiviraj Kapoor (Rishi Kapoor's Grandad) which would make ranbir kapoor a newphew of Sonam Kapoor !!

Whoa , so is there really something between nephew & aunt ?

Either way both are not just the superstars of the future , but superstars of today as well , with most of the

leading heroes over the hill (although the indian junta dont seem to mind , and the actresses too showing signs

of ageing, ranbir & sonam seem to the new hope , they are good looking , & can act too

Raj Kapoor's wife Krishna Raj is his bua, father's second cousin.

Such distant relations hardly matters.

Surinder Kapoor and Prithviraj Kapoor are first cousins. That is why Surinder Kapoor along with his family moved to Mumbai, were housed in their guest house and they helped Surinder Kapoor with finance and industry connections. This was said long back in the 80s by Anil Kapoor in an interview.

no way i heard it long back tat they were not related 2 each other infact i heard oneof the ranbir's intervioew in which he clearlly tells tat they both r not related so basicaaly this is a rumour

That is quite a distant relation.
These days one cannot even trace relations that far back unless there are elderly in the family that remember the links.

Actually marrying father's second cousin still seems a close relation and Raj Kapoor was surprised at this arrangement because he was just 21. Also I believe Krishna was 2 years older to him.

This relation between Surinder Kapoor and Prithviraj Kapoor is really distant that there is hardly any relation between Sonam and Ranbir. The families are close because Raj Kapoor gave shelter to Surinder Kapoor in their outhouse.
