I just remembered something not connected to the article but about Anil and Sonam.

Anil Kapoor mentioned long time back that Kajol is his kids' fav. actor esp. Sonam's and she wants him to be paired with Kajol. So when Hum aapke dil mein rahte hain' came to him with Kajol in the lead, he immediately signed it. Kids and him were very excited. The film was a superhit too.

I do not think that Sonam is the only one who has to get the script okied by Dad. Many actresses are even accompanied on the sets by their moms so am sure in this case, mom okays the script too. Am sure Ranbir also asks his parents for advice before accepting movies.
Yes, she is child like in many ways. She has lived at home and her parents have had a bigger say in decisions about her life than she has. I find that very cute and am sure that most Indian girls can relate to this at one stage of their lives.
She is facing the media and has just started giving interviews. She will get better with time, I am sure. Let us give her some space.
Irrespective, I like her because she is so real and talks from her heart about her fears. It may not all come out cohesive but then you see that there is no malice either.
