It looks like blogger Ms.Kimaya De watched only Deepika's part of the interview and conviniently ignored Sonam's part😉. Probably because Deepika's name would make it more controversial and her article would be discussed further. First Deepika's acting prowess was a question mark but since she proved in that so now this😆. I am sure we are in for more of "arrogant" Deepika as time goes. She has arrived.

Yes and it is not something which is hidden. Media reported it promptly. Sonam assisted SLB in Black and also has an actor father. So it is not like she is alien to the film world. This is Deepika's Hindi debut. Deepika was asked by the media to comment on Sonam's quotes.

After reading the comments here I am glad that Deepika retaliated by saying that she bagged the role on her own not because of any film connection. She did modeling and Farah saw and chose her. Sonam made the debut as Anil Kapoor's daughter. Class just doesn't come from the dresses one wear. One should take the competition in the right spirit.

Farah Khan didn't go to every model and sports player's house either. She saw potential in Deepika and casted her. Deepika didn't get modeling offer because of her father. She was spotted at school and they offered her the assignment. When she accepted of course father's name cannot be omitted. She is a stunner so she got the offer.

Sonam worked with SLB and Ranbir too and there are several other assistants. But SLB only saw potential in star kids. Movie was always advertised as launch of two star kids, Rishi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor's daughter.

It is either a stunner or a star kid who makes a quick entry to film world.

what? are you implying that deepika went into modelling cuz her dad is popular? Are you kidding me cuz if she had no potential then why would any one keep her. Deepika is what she is on her own it has nothing to do with her father.

And Farah saw Deepikas "potential" which is why she launched her not bcuz her dad is popular.😕

Exactly, SLB saw potential in Sonam hence he picked her for his new film..Sonam even didnt want to persue acting in the first place..SLB is all for supporting talent and esp those who doesnt have a 'GodFather'

Deepika- i found her answer to quite rude not rude but bit unfair..all Sonam said was tht she had an experience befor a camera be it a diff language film, she did modeling, ad campaingns etc. Whereas, for Sonam its totally a new thing..so it is bit unfair to compare them too..and very mean to say 'She got picked becasue she was the daughter of a star'

This whole fiasco about Sonam- Deepika is soo tiresomee..an the media is just making it worse..and im hating the negativity thts brewing..
