Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty let bygones be bygones

Once good friends, Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty had decided not to work with each other after a bitter spat.
Akshay and Sunil gave an altogether new definition to the onscreen male bonding in films like Hera-Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri . They worked together in many other movies as well, and in the process of doing so became close buddies themselves.
But differences cropped during the making of 'Phir Hera Pheri', their last film together. Sunil apparently was miffed about being sidelined in the film. There was also a bitter altercation between the two stars during the dubbing after which Sunil had publicly stated that he wasn't interested in working with Akshay anymore.
Akki, too, did not make any attempt to mend fences with Sunil.
And just when it seemed that the two friends had parted to never work together again, filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah has done what seemed incredible. He has convinced Sunil to work with Akki in his next production Singh Is King .
The movie has Akshay playing a Punjabi guy. It will be directed by Anees Bazmee .
Vipul admits it was difficult getting Sunil's consent. The actor had his doubts about working in the same film as Akki. But Vipul allayed Sunil's apprehensions.
Reports have it that Vipul has brokered a peace between the two stars, who have let bygones be bygones and reconciled.
