Baby B and biwi do a no-show at a dinner hosted for the cast of Laaga Chunari Mein Daag No Thanks: Abhishek and Aishwarya Do Come! Rani Mukerji That former best friends Aishwarya Rai and Rani Mukerji don't get along anymore is old news. The warm vibes turned cold after Ash had issues with Rani for replacing her in Chalte Chalte (Shah Rukh Khan showed Ash the door). Later, Ash's marriage to Rani's 'good friend' Abhishek didn't help matters, especially since she was not invited to the wedding. And if you thought enough water had flowed under the bridge, get ready for more fireworks. Olive branch Recently, after the completion of Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Rani invited the entire cast over for dinner. Barring Abhishek Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, everyone attended the party. A source says, "Rani invited Jaya and Abhishek for the party on the last day of the shoot. She'd also extended the invitation to Aishwarya." This was probably Rani's way of mending her strained dosti with Ash, but the Bachchans decided to stay away. A source close to Abhishek says, "Jayaji wanted to attend the dinner but she was unwell. She called Rani and her mother and explained why she couldn't be there. Jayaji is very fond of Rani and openly admits to it. In fact, she even said Rani was the best actress in today's time on Koffee with Karan." Though we have an explanation for why Jaya Bachchan couldn't attend the dinner, but we really have no clue why Bachchan Junior and his wife stayed away from the bash. Ash made faces A few days ago, it was reported on www.buzz18.com that Aishwarya had made faces at Rani and humiliated her while she was shooting for Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. Rani plays a middle class woman who turns to prostitution in the film, while Abhishek plays her love interest. The film has been produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Parineeta director Pradeep Sarkar. Apparently, Ash went to the sets of LCMD in Switzerland to spend time with her hubby and mommy-in-law when the incident occured. A source says, "We really don't know what's happening between Rani and Ash, but it's a fact that they are not best buddies. However, Abhishek and his family are extremely fond of Rani. I doublt that equation will ever change." Rani remained unavailable for comment.

lol i dont believe mid-day articles...but if its true...then Rani should stop being so goody good...if Bachans are treating her bad...then why doesnt she also start ignoring them.....she's India's No.1 actress right now...she doesnt need to take anyones b/s

I am not sure when did jaya praised rani but in season 2 jaya rated rani 5/10 and kajol, tabu around 8-10. It's really disturbing the way abhishek behaving toward ash, but he can't make his wife sad by attending rani's bash.

Ash is so rude; she is now controlling AB junior.
Hats off to rani for still inviting her; I think she shouldn't try to revive her friendship if Bachans are on the seventh sky.

i agree that Rani loves the Bachans....but lately all they have been doing is mistreating her....I am not a Rani fan....but when i read these articles i feel bad for her

first they didnt invite her to the wedding

then Jaya ignored her on LCMD sets

I also feel very bad but maybe rani just want to try everything to make things better.

I don't know, while Mid-Day is known to print false articles, this could be true as it has been reported on other websites too. It is no secret that Ash and Rani do not get along, and it could probably be the reason Abhi did not attend Rani's dinner. I think Rani is keeping quiet because of Abhishek and Amitabh, she doesn't have problems with them and they've both talked well about her in public. Her issue is with Ash, not the Bachchans

Saba i think its a good think that Rani is trying her best....but if they keep treating like this...they she should just keep a healthy professional relationships with them...and keep away for them personally
