Bips and john to do item song

Bipasha Basu is just not interested in the controversy queen tag. So, even as the rest of the world discussed whether John and Bipasha are together or not, the dusky beauty went ahead and shot an item song with him in Karjat.

But isn't she scared about so many item songs affecting her image? "When have I cared about an image? This is for Vishal Bharadwaj. He gave me two of my best item numbers — Beedi and Namak — in Omkara. He told me about the item song in No Smoking and after what the Omkara numbers did to my stage presence, I promptly said 'yes'."

And when Bipasha is not doing item numbers, she is espousing the cause of animals. Is it the John connection again, considering he is a known animal lover?

"I have always loved animals. In Kolkata, I used to have so many cats in my house! However, I am staying in a flat in Mumbai and even if I want to have a lot of pets at home, I can't." John gifted Bipasha a Chihuahua two years back. "Posto is my child," Bips says. Any plans of turning vegetarian like John too?

"Although I don't preach vegetarianism, I think it is a healthy way to live," she answers.

Bipasha recently attended a charity event too. In her own words, "It was to promote lithographs and help Maneka Gandhi in their sale." The proceeds will go to Maneka's NGO for animals.

And why didn't John accompany her here? "Both John and I were supposed to come for this event, but he couldn't make it because he was busy. He sends his apologies," is how she explains his absence.

Ahan so the ' dusky' beauty 😆 is persistently doing item songs, I would love to see someone else doing an item number.It becomes tedious and monotonous watching the same person .She did many , I think its time she looks for better roles.....

I think that it will be nice to see them together, and although Bipasha does a lot of item numbers, you can't deny that she does a good job!
