Priyanka refuses Hollywood project!

Even while other actresses tom-tom their Hollywood projects, Priyanka Chopra is quietly being offered - and is unfortunately rejecting biggies. When we spoke to the actress, enquiring whether she was the only actress who was giving international projects a miss, she said, "It's not like I don't want to do Hollywood films. It's just that I don't want to take up something I am not comfortable with." What about rumours that she had been offered the role of the role of Wondergirl in a Hollywood film? "That's not true," she says, but adds, "Actually I was offered a big Hollywood film recently, but I was not sure whether it was the right one for me. I came this close to doing it, but finally decided against it. Now you might soon hear of somebody else doing the film. And then maybe I'll regret it (she laughs). But I always stand by my decisions and am ready to face the consequences."
The rumour is that the project Priyanka was loath to talk about was none other than Ashok Amritaraj's film which is about an Indian girl meeting an American boy. The film is to be produced by Amritraj's Hyde Park Entertainment and will be financed by Adlabs. With Priyanka deciding against the film, we wonder which actress will bag this one? Any guesses?
