Bipasha to do another item number

After the chartbuster 'Beedi jalai le' Bipasha Basu is all set to do another rocking number in Kumar Mangat and Vishal Bharadwaj's No Smoking. What's interesting is that she will feature in a John Abraham-starrer, albeit in an item number.

Bipasha says, "Yes, I will do this song. I love Vishal Bharadwaj's compositions after 'Namak' and 'Beedi'. He has again offered me a great song. It's also special because it's John's film. Anurag had offered me the film but I couldn't do it. I am glad that I could at least do a song for him."

Kumar Mangat says, "Yes we have spoken to Bipasha and she is very keen to do the song. We just have to finalise the finer details now."

After the Beedi song, Bipasha seems to be the perfect choice for an item number. Director Anurag Kashyap says, "Yes, it is true that she will be doing the item number. We wanted a sexy girl with a lot of oomph and who better that Bipasha? Kumarji and Vishal had earlier worked in Omkara's 'Beedi jalai le' and their combination was rocking. That's why we chose Bipasha again. The song will be picturised on Bipasha only, and no one else. We are going to shoot the song next month and the rest of the details are being worked out."
