But if we think from SRK's side then he had to look after production, about people associated with the movies etc. The constant interference because of the problems was halting the shoot and loss of money. So SRK after replacing Ash apologized to her too. But as they were very close Ash could never forgive him even after his repeated attempts.

In Bollywood friendship and foes change overnight so we never know about tomorrow😊. May be Aryan Khan will debut with Navya Nanda😆

I believe there is more to the story than what was told. There were reports that Salman misbehaved on the sets of Chalte Chalte when he came to see Ash, if that were the case then why would Shahrukh replace Ash in that film? Why would he become friends again with Salman but not Ash?

I appreciate that you were fair here. I'm so tired of people who constantly bash Ash to make her look bad over what happen here. And for the person who said "who cares about Ash" you should remember that Ash was a victim here.
A couple of corrections though. At least corrects from what I understand happen.
SRK did not ask Ash to back out of the film. Ash was told that the shooting was discontinued but she later came to find out that SRK began shooting with Rani. Ash was never informed. In case anyone didn't know but Ash and Rani were very close friends. Rani even going on a talk show claiming to love Ash that's how close they were. So of course, this hurt Ash that Rani didn't tell her she was taking over her role which explains why her and Rani no longer talk and why she likely wasn't at Ash's wedding despite Rani's friendship with the Bachchans.
Ash was also dropped from the movie Veera Zeera because SRK later said he was embarrassed over what happen so felt funny working so closely with Ash. Preity took her role but Preity respected Ash enough to call Ash and inform her. That's why they remain friends to this day.
SRK did apologize to Ash for interferring in her personal life. Understanbly they are not as close as they once were but they have met at award shows and premieres. Ash even presented an award to SRK for VZ. I don't think they'll ever work together again. I've read that SRK has tried discuss things with her but Ash isn't trusting of him.
Anyway, it's all water under the bridge now. I'm glad Ash came through all the struggles and remained a top actress.

First of all,SRK shouldn't have been involved in this mess 🤢 ...it was both clearly Salman and Aishwarya's fault.

Shahrukh and Aishwarya,let's make it clear,were never close. They were just co-stars. Not more than that. Shahrukh and Salman have known each other since they both started their career. Salman's family gave Shahrukh and Gauri a house to live in when he was new to Mumbai.

So,when the whole incident of Salman coming and abusing Aishwarya on the sets of Chalte Chalte happened...Shahrukh intervened and told Salman off. Later,beacause of Aishwarya having all these problems with Salman caused in the delays of shoots. As a producer, I belive Shahrukh had the RIGHT to tell her to leave as his production house was already in a financial disaster.

Shahrukh and Salman's friendship took a stanstill after that. Shahrukh did not comment for a long while on the whole mess. Aishwarya made a comment on SRK about not being a great human being which she later claimed was never said by her.

After that,at Farah Khan's sangeet, it was reported that while Shahrukh was in the party, Salman came from behind and hugged him and started crying. Then both of them made up and started off again.

Later, SRK and Aishwarya made up at some tour. They are okay now. I don't know about Aishwarya's status now, but yes, you can see SRK isin't comfortable with her now. And to those who claim Ash lost trust in SRK, they weren't even good friends to start of with. They just had a good working relationship.

And to those confused on why SRK is more comfortable with Salman than Aishwarya,though it was clear that it was Salman's fault, the reason is if you know SRK...he is sensitive...and he is very bonded. He will support in his own silent way just for the fact that they helped and gave him a house when he needed one.

Saying all that, and without being biased, anyone can clearly see that IT WAS NOT SRK'S FAULT. It was and has always been a whole Salman-Ash affair. This is one of their yet another dramas.

No,Aishwarya and Shahrukh, both admitted about this. She had beem informed a week ago. That's why the whole issue with Rani Mukherjee. Of Rani not even asking after being offered the role. But the production did tell Aishwarya about her having to leave.

And I'm sorry if I hurt anybody's sentiments...I did try to stay away when the topic started...but people just write without knowing much. I may too be wrong on some points as everything's media reported...but knowing Shahrukh as long as I do...this is the story.

well, i think srk was right in his own place... who knows how many problems were encountered during this whole issue!....being a producer, i guess srk had no other choice... i doubt that srk just "threw' ash out, he probably tried his best to sort out the problem in the best possible manner but when everything got out of hand, what else cud he do but replace ash with sumone else, in this case, with rani!....

and then we all know that srk and salman have been friends ever since one can remember....im sure ash and srk have some respect for each other, but maybe not that friendly bond which salman and srk share... so if he patched up with salman, it does not mean srk and ash arent on talking terms or hate each other, its probably that they werent close of friends from the right beginning to ever patch up a so called broken friendship!!... whereas, srk's and salman's bond is completly different!

even then, this issue was a salman -ash issue, not a srk-ash issue... srk surely tried his best to do whatever he cud but when nothing worked he had only one option for the betterment of everybody... and thats replacing ash....

and then when rani was finalised for chalte chalte over ash, ash and rani's friendship vanished as well!!.... and they have not seemed to bond ever again... whereas srk and salman have forgotten a lot after that!... so u can see the sum friendships here in bollywood!

wat eva guys...whether ash n srk became friends or not..dey'll neva work 2gether again ...Recently srk has given a statement dat he would neva work wid ash again, reason being his not being invited 2 da so called "big wedding"....specially after his close bond wid amitab n jaya(who called srk her son once in kwk).This thing has hurt srk to such an extent dat he has informed dat he would neva work wid ash again.So even if chalte chalte case got resolved ..da rift is still dere n will always be between srk n ash ..specially after da weddin.
