Emraan Hashmi was badly hurt while doing a fight scene with co-star Asim Merchant for the film The Train in Bangkok. Emraan has done almost all the fight scenes without using a double.
Asim adds, "We got lots of bruises while doing the scenes in this film since they were very demanding. The plus point was that we were shooting in Bangkok, where there are many acupressure and body massage joints. So they were sent on the sets. I and Emraan used to have lots of massages between shots."
"There are a lot of fight scenes in The Train which has Allan Amin (of Dhoom fame) as the fight master. There are no helicopters or motor bikes but lots of dhishoom dhishoom, done without special effects," reveals the actor from a theatre background.
About The Train
Asim Merchant plays a negative character named Tony Gonsalves, who stays on the streets of Bangkok. An uneducated and rough kind of person, he hates white collar people because he believes they hinder his chances of becoming successful in life. Once he meets Emraan in a train, he makes a plan to become rich by using him.
The Train is directed by the duo of Hasnain S Hydarbadwala and Raksha Mistry, who previously made The Killer.
