I agree. Krrish was such a huge let down. I had finally convinced my son that we do have an Indian super hero when i had urged him to sit through krrish, and at the end, he was still trying to figure out what exactly special the superhero did, other than wearing a mask and a suit that was a cross between batman and superman and jumping on high buildings .....something his fav spiderman could do with one hand tied behind his back......he is much happier with his 'hanuman'....and thinks hanuman is the true Indian super hero !! 😆😆

But if we ignore the amateurish special effects of krrish, Hritik was first rate in the movie. But he was far better in Koi Mil gaya. In fact the older version of Hritik in Krrish was again a major let down, a total shift southwards in his acting scale when compared to his own role as a retard in Koi Mil Gaya.

Abhi on the other hand can emote without speaking a single word.....he is probably even better than his father in some aspects ( dance being one...😆). But superhero material? I don't think so. But then, who, in their wildest dreams, other than Sam Raimi and Sony of course, would have thought a thin nobody like Toby Maguire would make such a fabulously perfect Spiderman....so a lot depends on the perception of a director.

However, it would be unfair on both Abhi and Hritik to compare their roles when Drona has not even seen a promo release.
