Isn't true that at a time Big B (and Jaya as well) acted in movies mainly to pay off debts? Must say of his film choices were both shocking & surprising. What happened to creative instinct then? Of course, it all depends on priorities. SRK never claimed to only act in movies for purely creative instinct reasons. He does want to keep his fans happy cos without his fans, he would not be 'the SRK'. 😃 I don't think all actors act for purely creative reasons. Yes, they want to try a variety of roles and please the actor/actress in them but they also have to make sure they can pay off bills. 😉 I think that would be true for many of the top actors and actresses in Bollywood.

The article mainly talks about Cheemi Kum. It would have made sense if the article title had something to do with the actual content and not just one line. Good job by the journalist to cash in on the Big B vs SRK. 😆

Unfortunately, neither SRK nor Aamir can play the role of a 64 year old just yet. I don't think it would look right if they woo a girl 30 years younger (basically, a 10 year old) than them. We don't want another Nisbhad. 😉
Bollywood is changing and small budget films are successful and appreciated even more than big budget ones (i.e. Khosla ka Ghosla, Bheja Fry, Malamaal Weekly) nowadays. There are many films made with certain actors in mind.

both big b n srk n diff ppl diff age srk is young n big b is old ..but big b tries young roles to tryyyy to entertain young ppl but i am not impressed with big b and the bachans at all for me they r like dust on the ground n srk is star in the sky..its my thinking 😳

ps:pLEASE do live in the present. We are not going back in time. everyone has dead patches in their career n so has AB. It was disgraceful at that time. BUt surprisingly he bounced back and I am happ with his choice of films now and I think he has done 100% justice to all these different roles he has tried be in Aks, Aankhen, Khaakee, Black, Sarkar, Virruddh, KANK, Eklavya or Nishabd. Hats off. and I like him the way he is. Its disgusting when he is compared to SRK who hasnt seen the industry even half the yrs as AB has

I wonder what Jaya thinks of Amitabh doing these roles of messing around with younger stars. 😆

They really need to stop comparing AB and SRK!!

They are two totally different people with totally different careers! I just think it's unfair for some journalist to create rumors so we will buy/watch their stuff!

I think the media is 90% responsible for this big AB and SRK war!

I really like AB for his acting today. He is not doing the typical father role Bollywood. He is taking a really big risk to expand his acting and to entertain us with different cinema. We should all accept this change instead of putting him down or comparing AB to SRK!!

FYI, SRK is my one of the my favorite actors but I do not worship him and every film he acts in. I have many favorite actors. Oh BTW, I am also a fan of Big B so please don't label me. Of course, I do not think everything he does equates perfection cos he too is only human.

I wasn't getting hyper, simply replying back like you did to srk_biggest_fan's post. Why can't SRK fans defend their favorite? 😕 I'm sure if the article was the other way around, Big B fans would come to defend their favorite, even though we all say we're sick of the comparisons.
