Kangana Ranaut has a penchant for bows and uses every possible occasion to flaunt them.

However, we must admit that the actress has a knack for dressing up in this hot trend in a novel way every single time.

Sometimes she sports it as a belt, while another time she goes for the Cinderella look. Must say the lady is getting her fashion fundamentals right.

500 and counting: Producers Jay and Kinnari Mehta cutting the cake

Telly producers Jay and Kinnari Mehta threw a bash on Sunday at Rock Bottom. There were two reasons to celebrate.

One, their Zee show Sinndoor had touched the 500-episode mark, while their SaharaOne drama, Solhah Singarr, has crossed 100 episodes.

Spotted at the event were the cast and crew of both shows. Among those were Aashka Goradia, Sachin Sharma, Mrinal Kulkarni and others.

Salma Khan and daughter Arpita went shopping to Anmol Jewellers in Bandra recently. This jewellery store is a favourite with the Khans, so it came as no surprise that Salma was lovingly pampering Arpita with some designer diamond jewellery.

But what really caught our attention was that both mother and daughter were carrying identical Louis Vuitton totes.

When we asked Arpita about it, she mischievously chuckled that every time the Khan girls go shopping, they make purchases in sets of three – one for themselves, and one each for ammi jaans Salma and Helen! With so many glamorous dames in the Khan household, we're sure that designer stores must be making a killing thanks to their bulk purchases!

An old industry stalwart called to say, "Amitabh Bachchan acknowledged writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar and music director Pyarelal (of Laxmikant-Pyarelal duo) as the architects of his career at the MAMI festival, completely ignoring Yash Chopra, who was sitting in the front row.

He didn't even mention Yashji's name, considering how he's done several memorable films with him.

He didn't acknowledge Ramesh Sippy, who was also present at the function (and directed him in Sholay and Shakti), nor did he exchange pleasantries with Romesh Sharma, who is an old buddy. Strange behaviour indeed."
Strange are the ways of the stars, no? Any answers, Big B?

It's playtime

It's a fun sunday: Poonam Narula-Goyal with son Aryaveer and Raageshwari Loomba

The playschool Peek-a-boo held its yearly concert at Ravindra Natya Mandir on Sunday, with a rather sweet theme called 'Olympeek-a-boo'! Johnny Lever was the chief guest and had everyone in splits the minute he started talking about a cricket match between Laloo Prasad Yadav and B-Town actors.

The other chief guest was Raageshwari Loomba, who performed from her new album Sagri Rayn, while TV actress Poonam Narula-Goyal shared a few words with her son on stage.

All in all, it seemed like a fun Sunday for the kids and their folks.

Zee Muzic's eye candy for March is Traffic Signal actor Kunal Khemu.

In a promotional mailer sent to us the channel urges viewers to 'devour Kunal Khemu, the Eye Candy all this month'.

Errr… thanks, but no thanks. The boy's sweet and everything, but we're really not that 'desperately hungry', ok?
