I will watch it this week.

So finally watched the movie and I have to say it lived upto the hype. It is much better than Aashiqui 2 as a movie. One big plus point of the movie is the cinematography and the production quality. When the producers do not have to pay huge moolah to actors unecessarily, the money is well spent on the quality of the product.

The movie is like a launchpad for Ahaan. It is his character, his dreams, his emotions , his love for the female protagonist . Ahaan without any surprise got many scenes to perform and he is good.

Aneet is BEAUTIFUL. I now understand why Mohit was insistent on a female face without surgeries and fillers. The innocence on Aneet's face and eyes sucks you into the story and how she is so different from Krish Kapoor. Aneet got one proper scene to 'act' ( the Mahesh scene) and she nailed it. She is mostly required to be soft spoken and subdued in the movie.

Most importantly, Aneet and Ahaan spoke NORMAL HINDI and not accented Hindi. It was music to my ears.

The story defies logic in many places but those can be ignored. The confession was also rushed and there could have been more scenes to build their love story.

All in all a very good watch.

Watched it, was really good but definitely not perfect with some faults but I wont go there. Ashiqui 2 songs were much better and still Mohits best. Aneet and Ahaan have a good future ahead.

I agree A2 songs were a lot better. Goated album.

Watched it, decent one time watch. Music is what worked, lead actors were ok too. It had a whole Aashiqui vibe.. too unrealistic and idiotic for my taste but i can see why gen z loved it.
