Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler

From meeting, developing a friendship to first kiss and then sex...just seemed too quick. Prior to the kiss at the concert, It it did not look krish and vaani felt anything for one another but than everything happened too fast. Maybe I'm just an ancient millenial who does not understand casual hookup or situationships.

Success comparisons with older movies (many years older) aren't fair, imo... if one wants a fair comparison, one should adjust the compared boxoffice to what it would mean today...or better compare the footfalls as also the ticket prices are higher now.

Apart from that objection, I'm happy that a newcomer movie has such a success given the plot point of Alzheimer's desease.

The movies that released in the last decade did so in an era of inflated prices so comparison with them is absolutely reasonable. In that sense we would then have to adjust for footfalls in this era upward then considering there were no streaming apps earlier aka alternatives for audiences to watching movies this accessibly hence causing higher footfalls pre Covid.

I've heard plenty of chatter on the gossip subs about Ahaan pandey's starry eyed obsession with bollywood. this is especially important because most of his contemporaries look down on hindi films, they are only in the business for fame and clout. We need a new gen actor who has a passion for the craft, not another algorithm driven "actor" who struggles to speak hindi.

Where ahaan goes from here depends on his choice of scripts, luck and of course connections because he has so much potential. It is aneet I'm worried about, how much connections does she have? since nepo's are known for stealing roles.

I think she will be fine. Aneet is a wake up call to the industry. If they don’t invest in her further, it’s a huge loss for Bollywood.

No one is more powerful than the audience. Just remember that this is the same industry that made Deepika a star but not Sonam - both debuted on the same day

I think you're right...I didn't consider the many possibilities the internet brought to not watch a movie in a theatre, especially increasing through the isolating times during the time of the pandemic.

Yet whatever, Saiyaara is a refreshing and surprising success...I'm happy for that... and for Ahaan, Aneet, Mohit and his team and Adi Chopra smiley1
