It's not as if people are suddenly noticing this pattern. This has been talked about plenty. There are actresses who consciously stayed away from such films. Deepika was fully aware of what she was doing. She participated in it willingly and profited from it. Doing Rubai after nearly two decades in the industry is not evolution, it's devolution. 😆. She knew that song was a cheap promotional gimmick. Whether it was the lyrics or the colour of the costume or her 'dance' moves. She knew the camera was going to zoom in on her crotch unnecessarily She is one of the most successful women in India. She was in a position to say no but she didn't. She was more than glad to say yes. Like KJo acting like 'nepotism' is entirely somebody else's doing Deepika is droning on as if she had nothing to do with the sexualisation of actresses; after consistently appearing on screen wearing nothing but dental floss.

Deepika looked terrible in all her swim suits. Her gamble was all flop. Neither she was applauded for looks nor for her acting (?). No movie needed her to be in such revealing costumes, so she came across really desperate and wannabe.

Deepika should not have done Gehraiyaan i feel.

Sanjay Bhansali s movies did well for her.

Its equivalent of star heroes romancing heroines way younger to feel themselves desirable...She thinks she has to act that way to look and feel desirable..Obviously not a smart thinking..

Funny how people praising Priyanka while bashing deepika when pc does way worst scenes than dp. I remember watching a scene where pc literally put her bare boobs against male actor but that’s decent and dp is not lol. I do agree dp is being a hypocrite talking like this now, if she would’ve said that years ago would’ve made sense. But now she’s exposing, disappointing that one flop women centric film made her lose confidence.
