You lost me at "Islamophobic" There is a solid real reason why Islam is feared. It's not an irrational fear, it's very very valid and rational. Open your eyes and see the world. How once Islam takes over. Culture is lost, women lose their voice. If anything, bollywood is having the guts to show a bit of reality to the world.
bollyWood is only good at showing distorted, toxic, fake, negative image of real Pakistan and real Islam., just like the joke in the name of socalled Indian news against Pakistan which are nothing but laughable.. 😂
Only Hinduism is the true religion and only India is the most mahaan country in this entire world ( for some strange unknown reason) as per them. 🤣🤣
Although Rahul Raut belongs to those whose tweets I skip, I opened the article as the title sounded familiar to me. It's not the first time I read about the corruption that goes on in filmindustries (the Indian/Hindi one doing it since...years! - fortunately with some exceptions). I've restricted my interest in reviews to very few people and the members here...and I regularly skip all the tweets/videos of certain persons I think of to be corrupt.
India (well, the parts I got to know more closely) is a glaring example for the saying that there is almost nothing one can't buy with money...and most of the media people who get posted here belong to the paid people.
Nepotism is just another word for Privilege and Privilege has always existed and will always exist.
Bollywood has been "Insider" dominated since the 80s especially when it comes to Male actors.
80's Insiders- Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Govinda. Outsiders- Jackie Shroff
90's Insiders- Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Bobby Deol, Akshaye Khanna, Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan Outsiders- Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty
00's Insiders- Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Imran Khan Outsiders- John Abraham
I dont think Nepotism has anything to do with Bollywoods downfall as it's always existed. The problem is the new batch is just a Copy/Paste of one another and the freshness has gone missing. OTT is the biggest challenge which isn't going anywhere. Bollywood will have to adjust and gear their content towards the masses instead of the Bandra Crowd. Because the masses still prefer theatre's to Netflix. KJO type of cinema is out. Atlee type of cinema is In.
Is this some apri fool joke in May...
I know this topic has likely been discussed before, but I’d like to share my perspective on it.... Lately, there have been growing rumors...
This video just dropped off. SB made somw really great points about today's semi-dead Bollywood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bv4cmLCtiS4
