Jeet Adani & Diva Shah Wedding

Adani Group Chairman, Gautam Adani's son, Jeet Adani will marry Diva Jaimin Shah on Friday, February 7. Mr Adani said Jeet's wedding "will be very simple and with fully traditional ways."

The wedding is set to take place in Ahmedabad. The couple got engaged in March 2023.

Diva Jaimin Shah is the daughter of diamond merchant Jaimin Shah, who also co-owns C. Dinesh and Co. Private Limited. This renowned diamond manufacturing firm has business in Mumbai and Surat.

The company was founded by Dinesh Shah and Chinu Doshi in 1976.

Jeet and Diva got engaged on March 14, 2023, in a ceremony attended by her close friends and family friends.

Jeet Adani joined the Adani Group in 2019, after attending the University of Pennsylvania - School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He started his career in the Group CFO's office, looking at Strategic Finance, Capital Markets and Risk & Governance Policy. He is currently spearheading the Adani Airports business as well as the Adani Digital Labs.

Gautam Adani said earlier that Jeet's wedding "will be very simple and with full traditional ways".

Mr Adani said in a post on X that "Jeet and Diva have pledged to 'Mangal Seva' by providing financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh each to 500 newly married women with disabilities."

So I hope they will fullfil their pledge...would be a great thing

I suppose, an Adani "simple" marriage would still be a luxury one for common people

Beginning tomorrow, 7 February, S&P Dow Jones has said it will remove the Adani Group’s flagship firm Adani Enterprises from sustainability indices following a media and stakeholder analysis triggered by allegations of accounting fraud. The S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC is a joint venture between S&P Global, the CME Group, and News Corp, which was announced in 2011 and launched in 2012.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average, Dow Jones, or simply the Dow, is a stock-market index of 30 prominent companies listed on stock exchanges in the US, and is one of the oldest and most commonly followed equity indexes.

The move comes amid BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) and NSE (National Stock Exchange) putting three Adani Group companies — Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone and Ambuja Cements — under their short-term additional surveillance measure (ASM).

The parameters for shortlisting securities under ASM include high-low variation, client concentration, number of price band hits, close-to-close price variation and price-earning ratio.

Market experts believe that putting in additional surveillance mean intra-day trading would require a 100 per cent upfront margin. The exchanges move might curb speculation and short selling in these stocks.

Since a while Adani's reputation and business measures got questioned, but as long as he does business with the government, he keeps afloat... (imo).
