I couldn’t help but compare this with Ranveer’s Bajirao and boy is Vicky falling short or what. Hopefully he did better in the actual movie.

Omg, I said the same thing. I have seen 3 actors playing Marathi characters after Bajirao- no on that can beat Ranveer’s diction and body language. Kuch bhi kaho bande ko, acting uska par A++ hai.

Movie visually looks very appealing, until the CGI lion shows up. This was overall a very good trailer if somewhat predictable. Vicky’s lines were very filmy, for lack of a better word. Akshay’s lines definitely fits for a certain audience or demographics. Rashmika is a flowerpot and Diana looks like a blink and miss flowerpot.

Vicky is a great actor and deserves all the success. But somehow I don’t think this will be his best performance up to date. But for Vicky even his second or third best is very good.

I actually thought Akshay’s character (is he playing Aurangzeb?) was modeled after Ranveer’s Khilji in Padmavat. Akshay himself is a great actor but yea I think he fell short of what Ranveer did as Khilji.

Sounds like a true definition of an action-packed commercial film for the theaters?

As I definitely want to watch this movie on biiiig screen, I don't watch the trailer (although I read the comments)...fortunately the subtlety of the language spoken is of no importance to me
