If it is in AVGC, the movie deserves it. The only interesting things in that movie were the visual effects and the song Kesariya.

The producer and director usually get awards for best film and director categories, respectively. Here, visual effect artists, supervisors, or animators not only didn't receive the award (like the Academy Awards), but they are not even mentioned.
