Suhana has neither the looks charm, presence or done anything, but we (at least I) have gotten over it after the initial unpleasantness upon hearing the news smiley17

Lux was endosed by those actresses (also including Katrina)...and by SRK.

As I already wrote...why not try to bring Lux back into focus through using SRK's daughter?

And what kind of reproach is this being SRK's daughter...it may be her luck (as someone wrote) but it is more used as a stain on her personality. At least there is no Karan Johar to profit from mentoring her...

As for the arguments about her looks and her acting performances, screen presence etc...they depend either on personal preferences or because Suhana is easy to make an object of bashing (like so many others here - star-kids also).

I find the whole nepotism debate mainly quite unfair: exception when I get to know that a star-kid gets a role that already had been promised to an 'outsider'.

I believe that no star-kid that doesn't work on the craft will remain as a leading character after many unsuccessful/rejected movies.

Suhana just made a movie with an ensemble cast with a director whose movie got rejected - certainly not only because of Suhana...

If one doesn't like the ad with Suhana, that's okay to me...what I don't find okay are the way the same arguments are repeated again and again, sometimes like if the writer enjoys to make it extra-negative. I find this also repulsive when this happens with other actresses (it's mostly with actresses, less with actors). In my opinion, that is highly judgemental.

If they are trolling her for getting the deal because she is privileged, fair enough. But if they are trolling her for the way she looks then it's plain nasty.

Everyone has the right to dream but I wish she had chosen some other profession or atleast had worked on her craft harder before joining movies. Her acting in the film was bad & sadly, she gets trolled for her looks, on top of that getting things on platter. All these only going to backfire badly.

Considering that she is in the business of selling the looks, what is so wrong if she was getting trolled for her looks? Didn’t she put herself up for it by especially featuring in the ads that claim to be about the looks? She chooses to play a character which was supposedly popular for her looks ( in the comics), but the audience is not supposed to comment on the looks?

I agree that it is fair to comment on Suhana's looks but wouldn't it be better to clearly state it as the own impression and not state it as a fact (in addition with demeaning expressions)?

Yes demeaning language and underhanded behavior is an absolute no, but unfortunately that goes with the turf she chose. People think they earned the right to put someone down just because no one knows their real identity. She is not the first one nor will she be the last. Honestly I don’t see anything out of the way or unique happening to her. SRK fans should stop getting so touchy may be.

Well, itsme, you may take it for being "touchy", but I think (and also have written it more than once) that the way 'nepotism' is used to spread negativity about newcomers often is exaggerated and unfair.

As for Suhana...of course I'm most interested in members of ShahRukh's family and not as much in members of families I don't know personally.

In addition, I like Suhana, find her beautiful and think that she had a bad start because her task had been to enact a not very nice character. Veronica was thought as a quite snooty and nevertheless insecure teenage girl coming back after many years to her hometown and to the boy she obviously had a crush on in the past. She certainly got the directive to play 'showing off' until she accepted this behaviour as wrong (and then Suhana's acting also changed).

I think, the enorm bias against Suhana was triggered by the enjoyment to finally be able to 'crown' her as 'supernepotistic'.

Also, the Archies really hadn't been a good choice as a debut feature film. So much was written to take the movie down...and almost always the debutants got flack and among them Suhana was mentioned the most (no need to guess why).

It's still difficult to get to SRK, so they try through his kids...first Aryan, now Suhana.

And it will continue...

Not everyone is a SRK’s hater for being against it. I am SRK’s fan, and she is getting an unfair advantage. Lux deserved the bashing.

You ABSOLUTELY didn't get my point but ended up writing a paragraph.

& since when a soap makes you beautiful. If you claim to be Ashwariya, are we suppose to believe you? Just don't say anything. Also, she was chosen to play the role not the other way around.

It's about basic decency. If you think trolling someone for looks is okay just because they are in an entertainment business then good for you I guess.

I definitely think that Lux bashing is only a pretexte to go against SRK's daughter who didn't get accepted as new 'brand ambassador' because of nepotism and disliking how she looks and what she did.

I don't read on Instagram as I haven't registered there and I hardly read Twitter comments related to SRK and his family any more...far too often accounts are only created for (paid) negative tweets...many just stopped to tweet after they have done their duty, mostly deleting all the posts done so far....so there are many accounts created after 2015 with no tweet.

Sure we can talk about how Suhana got the endorsement on a platter but it is still kinda funny to see Lux endorsement being treated as some sort of sacred thing smiley36.
