Yikes. Definitely came out as an insult. I can only hope that they didn’t mean it that way but this was expressed so poorly it almost doesn’t matter. If interviewing celebs is your job you need to work on your verbiage and ability to articulate a thought clearly and respectfully. Something like “from your debut you had more of a girl next door aura, someone we can all relate to and be friends with. You came across as very normal and approachable. That’s very rare to see among Bollywood heroines”. This took me all of 40 seconds to come up with. So yea either this girl sucks at her job or someone behind the scenes is really bad at their job.

When parineeti was a newcomer, she was on the heavy side with her weight but she had so much confidence and she shined. But then she started losing weight and lost her confidence as well. You can see when actresses are not confident and not happy because they lose that glow and shine. That is why parineeti didn’t do well in her career because she takes other words to her heart, she wanted to be loved by all. I believe Alia, Shraddha and pari did their debut almost same year 2010 2011 and 2012 and at that time I thought parineeti is the best among three. Somewhere pari did not believed in herself. She became busy losing weight, she gained later on. I just wish she would had followed her own journey. Eating healthy is very important, she did not had a good mentor. The interviewing person seems to focus more on herself being the star than the person in front of her.
