Actually, I sympathize with public persons like actors/actresses who mostly are judged for their looks...to me, they are humans as much as random people (or my beloved ones) are...and prone to health problems and allergies.
Ranbir's hair problems or skin problems or bloated face problems would be nothing that would affect my reception of him as an actor...this are strictly private things...whatever he does to enhance the public appearance (or for that matter anyone of his male and female collegues), I won't like to judge.
If he ages 'badly' in private, technics still can make him attractive on screen where enacting a character is (or should be) the main goal (that's also a reason why I don't have problems with SRK getting younger through VFX as his acting is the main factor).
So, to me, Ranbir on screen is not the same as Ranbir off screen.
