Why Aditya chopra does not direct movies anymore?

I believe his last directorial was Rab ne bana di Jodi. That was 15 yrs ago. Why did he stopped directing movies? Will he direct a movie maybe this year or next?

He did RNBDJ because Yash Raj Films was in a slump and he realized that he was the only person who could save the company by returning to direct.

However, he did last direct Befikre. The film got negative reviews but it did okay at the box office.

He directed a movie in 2016. He has to oversee the studio

Yes, that's why he makes fun of DDLJ and the palat scene in it since that was also from his movie.

He's only directed 4 movies: DDLJ, Mohabbatein, RNBDJ, and Befikre.

He can direct Dhoom series

Yes, Cherry/Tanya, 1 film that was not as warmly received as his other 3 blockbusters means he can't be a good director at all. Those other 3 movies magically cease to exist at your say-so.

I am trying to figure it out how the transition been? From DDLJ to befikre?? This is very surprising and even shocking.

I liked befikre. It may not be a masterpiece but definitely a good one time watch. Ranveer as usual turned in a fantastic performance which is a treat to watch in itself plus the songs and dances and the locations were so good.
