And if they want more than 1 kid it gets difficult with each passing year coz for women fertility decreases plus pregnancy will be harder.

Doctors advise to start planning kids preferably in early 30’s .

I think she will go in the path of surrogacy soon...

Agree 38 years age increases her risk in pregnancy.. so I strongly feel she will go for surrogacy

When Kareena can have Taimur at 35 and Jehangir at 40, why can’t DP do the same?
For the kind of money and resources that the rich people have, having kids is not difficult at all.

They got married in 2018 and I don't think there has been any career gap.

There can be many reasons why people who want kids don't have kids right away. They may have fertility challenges. One of my cousins and his wife really wanted kids, but they always wanted to adopt instead of having their own. They waited till they had flourishing careers and then started the adoption process.

I don't know about India and the rest of the world. However, it is illegal for doctors to advise people when to get pregnant. All they are supposed to do is provide care to people who are pregnant, and want to get pregnant, answer questions, and explain any risks if applicable.

Ladies, if your doctor tries to tell you to start planning for kids - sue them and get them out of practice.

Anyhoo, I will continue to explain this.

Yes, fertility declines after 35. And yes, there are more risks after 35. That being said with proper care, you can get pregnant after 35 and deliver healthy children. Some people may need fertility treatments or IVF to get pregnant, others can and will easily get pregnant naturally. Some people may have gestational diabetes, premature babies, or require a c-section, while others will carry a normal pregnancy to term and deliver naturally. Any other risks and birth defects can be minimized with genetic screening.

There are other options too. You can always freeze eggs and hire a surrogate to carry the children. Some young women are also compelled to do this because their body cannot carry a pregnancy to term naturally.

And pregnancy is not the only way to be a mother. Adoption is always a viable option. And adoptive parents are just as fulfilled and satisfied as biological parents.

The bottom line, women will have kids when they want kids, how they want kids, and we all can just STFU.
