What does respecting elders have to do with following someone on their social media? Salman doesnt follow Amitabh, and by your logic disrespected Amitabh, but that doesnt stop him from following Salman. So why this selective policing for Ash?

That’s not policing. Policing is saying that since Big B is following everyone else he should follow his own DIL too. Respect comes into play because within a family dynamic and cultural perspectives one is the elder and father figure and there’s an expectation that the younger one show him respect and appreciation 🤷🏽‍♀️.
