It will .. lesser number of shows with strong competition coming in 3 weeks is going to impact it. And if Sam Bahadur ends up getting equally good WOM, then it will become trickier - it's almost 50 mins shorter

Agree with opening day. Opening weekend will be huge too. Life time is hard to predict IMO. Weekday numbers will be a better indicator of final results. A very long very violent movie that’s absolutely not family friendly. Will it sustain Monday-Thursday?

I’m not underestimating that specific demographic this is mostly aimed at. They could very well continue to come to theaters in droves. But how will high ticket prices factor into their ability to repeat watch this? Because isn’t repeat watching what will take the movie to the 400-500cr mark? Will the producers and/or distributors have to lower the prices after the first weekend? Because that will drop the numbers. Will it become a battle of money vs footfalls?

I think high weekend because of curiosity, then drastic drop. This ain't a family film. Not a film for regular young people to go and watch either. Not even catering to the masses.

it will cater to everyone except kids. my only worry is duration. could have been 2.45 or 3 at least.

I don't think so. It will do 100-150 crores and tank.

The only problem I see is Salar/Dunki releasing on 21st Dec...it would have been on spot otherwise.
