Karan believes Alia pairing is better with Ranveer than Varun? - Page 2

Karan was trying to push Alia and Varun as the next SRK/Kajol. For Dilwale, he pushed for Alia to get the young female role but Kriti got the role instead. Karan wanted to showcase Alia and Varun as SRK and Kajol's predecessors.

However this jodi could not recapture that magic so he moved onto Ranveer as a bigger star. For Rocky aur Rani, he claimed Alia and Ranveer were the new SRK and Kajol.

I agree, it is the best chemistry she has had is Vicky in Raazi, the quiet intense was something else. It is also her best performance except in the last climax scene of her nostrils flaring.

Alia and Varun off screen chemistry is better than on screen.

Even she and Sid had good chemistry and even Vijay Verma.

Her worst pairing has been with Ranveer and Ranbir.

With Ranbir the whole Shivaaa was just atrocious and between Alia and Ranveer you did not have any intensity in spite of the heavy making out

I never liked Varun alia

Ranveer really tried but - in my eyes - Alia just wasn't convincing to make feel their romance.

Nevertheless, it wasn't as awkward as it had been in Brahmastra.

With Varun, their romance felt much more effortless.

Oh yes, I would like another not-mainstream movie with Vicky and Alia...

Alia has zero chemistry with ranveer.

I liked her pairing with arjun in 2 states.

It seems that she has the best 'chemistry' with actors that aren't h e r choices but the director's/filmmaker's one.

I assume that here, she pleaded/asked Karan explicitely for Ranveer just because of what Bekind wrote in the first post:

These are things, Alia doesn't forget...and with her constant (unnecessary) rival feeling towards Deepika and also Ranveer being available... she may have wanted to 'prove' something (like she wanted/wants with Ranbir).

In Brahmastra, she also explicitely asked Karan to be paired with Ranbir although Ayan (and Ranbir, too???) wasn't eager (to me, it's the reason why Ayan - unconsciously maybe - sabotaged a romance that neither he nor Ranbir felt but Alia wanted to make 'convincing' ...that's why I thought at that time that her character would turn out to be actually a g a i n s t Shiva's mission).

We all agree Alia least chemistry is with Ranveer and Ranbir. Yes she shares nice chemistry with Arjun Kapoor and Sid, haven't watched Raazi so not sure how the chemistry was with Vicky.

Alia has best chemistry with Varun, that's a given. With Ranbir, Ranveer, Siddarth Or Shahid, there is visible lack of chemistry. With Vicky it was okay.

KJo wants to push Alia with the buzzing actor at the time. Now with active social media its not going to work.

I think she has chemistry with both Ranveer and Varun.
