Infact I used to run away from Jagjit Singh songs too. I always said they are too sad and serious and make me sleep. Then one of my friends, quite a good singer and also a Jagjit Singh fan, made his mission to get me listen to Jagjit Singh songs. The first album he gave me was Mirage. I liked it ... And from then my journey to discover Jagjit Singh started 😆

A couple of my friends they really love all his songs. I'm selective I like the work of a number of artists. I like distinctive voices. I like Reshmas lambi judaai..1 or 2 tracks of Noorjahan. Here and there some other artists. Yes mostly Jagjits theme was sad songs. But he did the happy ones really well too.

It's perfect. Is it too much to say that I actually liked it better than the original. I'm not kidding.

Your depth, pronounciation, tunning was all on par. Breathing and all. No struggle from your end. Just your solo part at times sounded in the distant, but I listened to the original.. it was the same in that too. I loved the chorus especially. This partner you sang with suits well with you.

She sounded a little shaky at times. But she was good also. Other than that, can't fault her.

Who's the female lead in it Charu?

I think I will kick back later and go through your other songs too.
