i don't like hindi dubbing of South Indian movies. It's so artificial. Compare dialogue delivery of Kabir singh, durgamati etc to hindi dubbing of arjun reddy, bhagamathie etc. N obviously dialogues match the lips in bollywood remake

Sairat spoke of the class and caste divide, Dhadak just brushed upon it.
And BW will mess up with the beauty of sita Raman. Or maybe it's just me, these two movies are beautiful and I cannot think of anything doing justice to the og. Dub mein yaa subtitles ke saath dekho😅

bollywood has made very good remakes also like drishyam, bhool bhulaiyaa, Kabir singh etc. N I liked dhadak movie except it's casting. I always thought that if dhadak had some awesome chemistry couple like rkdp or Ranveer-anushka or adi shraddha or sid-parineeti etc, i would've loved that movie n it would've been a blockbuster. I like Ishaan khattar's acting but i thought he is too young for that role

As soon as I read the post I was at once reminded of Lootera and Bulbul.Having said that I do feel Mrunal looked ethereal in the movie and it’s difficult to match the beauty and innocence that she brought to the character.And Salman on the other hand was equally dashing and charming.

i found Ranveer very good-looking in lootera. I want him in that type of look. N i loved manmarziyan song of lootera

yeah but it had many things different from Veer-Zaara also. One of the things which i liked in sita ramam is that heroine actually refuses to sacrifice her love in front of her family so confidently. Generally, in movies n itv, heroines become very weak in front of their families n gives up on love. In kedarnath, mukku speaks non-stop otherwise but she keeps quiet when it's necessary. she ends up taking pheras with the other guy becoz after 1 slap n then she cuts her wrist. Stupid girl why can't she refuse for this marriage in front of all the guests n boy's parents. His parents will refuse themselves or they can't even drag her for pheras in front of all the guests

didn't know that, Jazz... yeah, that would be annoying...then Hindi subtitles would be better.

In Germany, the dubbed movies are very well made...the responsible persons really try to match the lips-mouvement.

I guess, dubbing Hindi onto another Indian language is a rather new technic. In Germany, it has a very looong tradition (about 70 years), the writers for the translations and the actors/actresses are very experienced.

it's really annoying for me to watch movies with subtitles. I mean like seriously? Not understanding a bit of audio n paying full attention to reading subtitles instead of watching the scene. I can't enjoy it at all

Can fully understand this, Jazz...was the same for me at the beginning, too...it took some time to get used to.

Now, if at the first watch the movie really appeals to me, I would do a rewatch whenever possible without depending on the subtitles anymore.

But okay, I see, why you (and others) would like to have a remake 😊

Yeah I agree. Ranbir and Deepika would be suitable choices. Alia can play Afreen.😆But its good there's no remake. Bollywood has enough of them. They should make original movies. Also they made its own version of Sita Ramam almost two decades ago with Veer-Zaara.
