Going by your logic, No co-star should ever promote their movie together. I am yet to find a single actor/actress that has not given WTF statement

I mean I still remember Deepika s comments about Ranbir s "cute boxers" and "Vin diesel s babies"

However, if the respective co-stars feel fine with doing the promotion together knowing how easily a "WTF statement" can happen, then it's okay.

I remember one promotional interview for JTHJ with Anushka, Kat & SRK (I think it may even have been the first one) where SRK said something Kat wasn't happy about and she voiced it. SRK being the man he is (instead of reacting annoyed), learned from this and from promotional event to promotional event the ambiance between all three got better & better.

Ranbir isn't SRK, I guess he would rather retaliate than learn...

I think he watch JJ promotion clips and was like "nope, nada, this is why the film flopped, not risking it"

Kidding, i don't think it's Ranbir's "sense of humour" why they are asked to promote the movie seperately. Infact, him giving weird statements and the co-stars frowning would get more publicity (and market mein any publicity is good publicity, thanks for teaching me that, Kangana)

I think these are attempts to silence the rumours (apparently they were there, i think my head was in the sand coz I missed them) and coz he thinks that people may judge their chemistry before going to the theatres and if they don't like it, they won't watch. (Which again, sounds a very risky idea, coz they look good together, some promotions would have done them no harm, or atleast videos with youtuber channels like FilterCopy, Prajakta Koli, Ashish Chanchalani would have been a better idea while keeping them apart for other stuff)

Actually, I did not follow those rumours...I really try to focus only on how the movie turns out to be.

If there is some substance to Ranbir & Shraddha getting close beyond the demands of the movie, then, maybe, separate them is also to do just that - to separate them...Luv may not be the guy to further an affair of a newly married husband who just became a father...

But all that are suppositions, so back to the facts 😉

If the movie succeeds, the promotion did it, too 😊

Nah Alia forbade RK from hanging out with Shraddha after those rumours. Luv Ranjan is covering it with "strategy" 😆
