The fact that SRK's hiatus worked big time in the favor of Pathaan is not being digested well.

BOI has been kryptonite for SRKians for years and I am so bloody fkin loving the articles it's churning on daily basis affirming SRK being the top most star India. The day was awaited and it has arrived in style with Pathaan. 🔥

The best part of Pathaan's success is that it has come on a Non Holiday....No Eid Diwali or Christmas which some stars deprived SRK off in last decade or clashed with his movies with negativity all around. Satisfaction like no other Pathaan thrashing all movies and their records like Hulk Smashed Loki.

I know that which is why I dislike past, long lasting legends being belittled easily. I am sure tomorrow no one will like it if someone said some new guy surpassed SRK or any other Khan.

Because we know what Khans have achieved and what especially SRK has done being an outsider and from a minority community.

I am sure SRK will one day be counted in same breath as Amitabh, DK, Rajinikanth etc but it is premature to say he surpassed them or compare them from an era when there was no facility that SRK has now.

I am sure DK, AB sr would have lasted longer and given more hits at 57 as main leads if they had professional dieticians, fitness trainers, VFX, botox, hair transplant, deaging technology, cosmetic procedures to look younger back in 70s, 80s, 90s. India did not even have proper gyms when previous generation stars used to play leads. So silly to compare with them now.

Amitabh sort of retired after Khuda Gawah to focus on building ABCL. He made comeback only in desperation to overcome bankruptcy after failure of ABCL and signed any crap that came his way hence the films like Mrityudata or Lal Badshah.

SRK never went in retired mode nor announced retirement. Amitabh had literally mentioned he was hanging up boots and wanted new gen to take over when he received his best actor award from Filmfare in early 90s. SRK never went bankrupt either. Comparisons are silly as older actors hardly got good scripts in past. Nor had means to look young. Today SRK can pick and choose scripts. Amitabh had no such choices and did crap films in 90s purely to come out of bankruptcy. Even his KBC or other films later were to overcome financial crisis and not as means to explore own stardom or creativity as an actor. Khans still get choicest scripts and do not choose any crap that comes their way nor ever announced hanging up boots or making way for new gen.

BOI has always been pro SRK and shows even his average and semi hit films from 90s and 2000s as clean hits. They reduce verdicts for films of other stars but increase hit count for SRK and often tried to hint SRK has more hits than even seniors like AB Sr, DK, Raj Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna from 90s itself. IDK how can anyone say BOI is biased AGAINST SRK when they have always tried to favour SRK over any other star from past or present.

BOI is very fair to SRK and has treated him lightly during Ra One underperforming as well.

He ain't passing the Siraat on qiyamah, he has indulged in fisq and shirk and Diyatha all his life, his wife and kids are mutabarijaat and he's a dayoos for allowing them and encouraging their sins worst of them not being muslims, people like Zaira Wasim turned her life round at a young age when realized how wrong and sinful life she was about to be getting in, this dude despite being old along with the other Khans are in for hell of an awakening when they die and it will be too late by then, if he was a man he would retake the Shahadah and start a new life by himself, but his eyes and ears have been closed and this is his sentence to aimlessly make movies and think of stoopid box office numbers, mujahideen and scholars like Shaykh Faris Zahrani and others who died defending their religion are the real heroes. This fraus is anthesis to everything the noble martyers and greats stood for.

And BOI never compared the financial status both stars you are goofing things up.

It was only about the two seniors veterans returning after kind of a hiatus.

Dilip Saab and AB Sr are parameters of success in Bollywood. Their careers are seen as the tool to measure stardom. Hence it compared SRK with these two legends. It wasn't offensive but some people did took it this way.

Rest aren't much of a concern in my opinion.
