That's very strange: "The user you are trying to quote may have blocked you. You cannot quote his/her posts."
Well, I will copy/paste what I wanted to quote from Yankees:
"Somehow Srk as a lover boy always seems rehearsed, repetitive and kind of plastic/made-up to me.
But what to do, just like everything else about him, he and people made a big deal about this as well."
1st line: I never felt that although I agree that some kind of his acting got repetitive. But I think, even in real life we repeat gestures and expressions of romantic love, so, actually, it doesn't bother me.
I think, every actor has his/her own way to express romance and it's understandable if one does connect with some and doesn't connect with others. As for me, my heart and mind could connect with ShahRukh enacting romance.
2nd line: The "big deal" I don't like are the labels made by media and enjoyed (I feel) by fans like Baadshah of Bollywood, King Khan and King of romance. I know, his name signifies "face of a king" and watching the crowd on his birthday and SRK greeting them from the platform has a very 'royal' touch and is plain overwhelming. It's most the stamp of "King of romance" that bothers me because of the danger to get typecast which, imo, isn't what SRK deserves.
