If Seeta Aur Geeta is ever remade, who should do it?

If a film like Seeta aur Geeta or Chaalbaaz is ever made again in BW, which actress has talent and potential to do justice to roles immortalised by Hema and Sridevi?

I know we are fed up of remakes but still. Asking because there is dearth of entertaining films with female leads that are not preachy.

Shraddha is doing chalbaaz remake.

Sita Gita, ram shayam, chalbaaz, kishan kanhaiya r kind of same plot movie.

Gopi Kishan was bit different with plotline where weaker one wasn't tortured n was foolish n funny.

Alia bhatt and Alaya F from new generation would do well

I don't know who would have enough comic timing to do this scene. Besides her 15-minute role in Gully Boy Alia has hardly showcased comic timing. The talent quotient has really gone down with nepotism. Bebo's work in Jab We Met proved she could be remotely passable.

With all the talks of similarity between Kiara and Hema I would like to see her in Seeta Aur Geeta.

Alia. No other actress can get audience to watch films these days.

She did showcase some comic skill in Good News!

I can see only Alia Bhatt being able to pull it off from this generation....otherwise Juhi Chawla would have been perfect.
