If Kantara is up on rent in Amazon Prime like PS1, I’m not gonna pay again to watch just these 2 movies.

P.S. I’m a prime subscriber paying Rs 1500/year but I need to pay separately to watch rent movies in Prime Videos 😡

Agreed. Varaha Roopam literally binds the movie as a whole, it is mesmerizing. I had heard Navarasa after the controversy and one cannot deny the similarity, the resemblance is extremely strong. Maybe they could give due credits and retain the song

I am an ardent fan of that music band and I have once fortunate to listen Navarasa in one of their live performances and it was magical. That said, the controversy related to Varaha Roopam made me sad as last 15 minutes and the song at the end is the USP of Kantara. I watched the movie yesterday in pvr Cochin and the song is very much the part of the movie. I really hope the makers and Thaikoodam band arrived at a compromise.

If Varaha Roopam is removed, deity dancing will loose it’s importance and this movie will suffer.

IMO, the makers of Kantara should reply back in court with proper evidence

I agree with giving due credits and retaining the song, so as to ensure that there is no more conflict.

But you cannot have the movie without the last bit with the Varaha Roopam. That gives a different essence to the whole movie. Hope it gets sorted out soon.
