Yeah, I think they belong to the same person...that the son becomes a split personality. Of course, I could be wrong...just a thought because of the resemblance of that one pic...maybe it's the Bobby person that wins over the son and he might kill the dad (the Bobby full of blood)...and when the son is shot, we see him again as Ranbir person.
