Mbh, I know for sure. Ramayan, only hearsay that Ram-Lakshman's fav family diet at least in exile was spike roasted meat. Ie, shish kebob.

Vaisampayana said,--"Then that chief of men, king Yudhishthira, entered that palatial sabha having first fed ten thousand Brahmanas with preparations of milk and rice mixed with clarified butter and honey with fruits and roots, and with pork and venison.

(Ie, pork AND deer meat)

cant stop anybody if they are legally allowed unless some temple policy prohibits it (e.g. some temples only hindus are allowed)

but pls stop using temples for film promotions, they are not pubs or malls

any filming, pics etc in temple premises and within temple to be used for film promotion purpose shpuld be prohibited

all these actors who probably never knew of these temples are turning up there for film publicity

Gatekeeping is bad.

But Ranbir is a celebrity and you know what he eats and drinks. There are thousands of Indians in USA who eat beef and then go to temples here and back at home.

Plus so many temples gleefully welcome white people who most definitely eat all kinds of meat.

These politicians have made a joke of Hinduism.

Ranbir is a Hindu living in India and eats beef. That's the main issue but still it was not fair to not allow them to enter the temple. What those people did was absolutely wrong but at the same time I do believe celebs too need to be careful while giving interviews. Will these celebs tell how many women do they sleep with? No because that'll ruin their image so why to tell everyone they eat beef? They can eat whatever they want, beef pork anything but why to tell this in interviews? I am not defending those idiots but still celebs too need to be careful while speaking in interviews.

People here seem to think it’s okay for a Hindu to eat beef. But the same people are intolerant and get all hyper when we speak about Muslims eating pork. Why is one okay but the other is a big no no?

The puritan vegiterian fanatics forget Lord Kaal Bahirav or Mahakal is worshipped by Aghoris along with Mahakali. Bhasm ( Ashes) from human remains are used for Bhasm Aarti. Bhasm is completely applied on the Shiv-ling. There is no restriction on entry on Mahakal Temple on the basis of food.

These people are actually promoting the movie.

What are you even talking about? Who exactly said it was ok to attack pork-eating Muslims?

Come to West Bengal, Orissa and North East. Only vaishnavs are vegetarians. But most priests are non vegetarians along with most people. Not everyone blindly follows north Indian vegetarian life which BJP is trying to force on everyone.

For Brahmastra, they're visiting Shiv Mandir, if the movie was Sudarshan Chakra they would be visiting Vrindavan I guess

Don't know about beef, but I can tell you this. No one's taking beef fry from the plate of any Malayali, no matter what religion.😆

Do religious Hindu Malayalees also eat beef?
