Context is Ranveer in response to a reporter asking for a byte said “you want a love bite?” Wrong and inappropriate but intention was a joke. Out of context, the way you guys present it is, Ranveer randomly asking a reporter if she wants a love bite. Wrong and inappropriate but at a much bigger level than the scenario with context. Yes there is a difference between the two scenarios.

As for slapping models on their asses, yes it was wrong if it was without their consent.

BYTE is a technical word that reporters use all the time...nothing sexual about it.....Ranveer made it sexual....as simple as that......imagine not Ranveer but a female journalist telling her Boss.....I didn't get any BYTE and the Boss says...Do you want a love bite??? Sounds like a joke ???

I’m not saying Ranveer’s comment wasn’t problematic. What I’m saying Ranveer saying it as a response is a little different than Ranveer potentially having said it randomly.

The boss is in a position of power over an employee. That’s why laws regarding employee employer relationship and interaction is so very specific and concise. I understand what you are trying to say but the boss and Ranveer are not equal examples.
