It's because of her insecurities she desires only those things other big achievers have. Till date she doesn't have anything SHE wanted, she tried to have what others have and got that using KJo's influence or manipulation. Her whole career or may be life is like that. In her childhood her father doesn't used to give them much time, but he was like a close friend to Puja, in some old interview she said she wanted that with her dad.

It's never mujhe chahiye for her, it's always uska hai mujhe bhi chahiye.

This Aishwarya interview is the first thing that came to my mind when I saw K Jo hype Alia.

Ash knows it best how these backings work given how she was removed from top films of Dharma, YRF and other banners after Salman stormed sets of Chalte Chalte and was only getting bad press, losing offers, getting replaced by Rani or Preity in big films. Despite her peak popularity, Ash got removed from big films. She was lucky she moved abroad for global projects and became a bigger icon. Same happened to PC and she moved abroad after Bollywood cliques banned her.

Outsiders have to be ten times more good looking, work harder, act better, have everything going fine or else they can be kicked out even if they are like Ash.

Kajol, Kareena are others who got lot of leeway and plum projects despite moohphat attitude, flops and the former even lacked glamour factor that latter had. Karishma is the only nepo kid who had to struggle really. Others got lot of pampering from producers and media.
