What should Aamir do now?

After Laal Singh Chaddha being a disaster at the box office, Aamir's four years have gone into waste. It's been six years he hasn't given a Hit film. His last Hit was Dangal in 2016.

His next would likely come after two years from now, which means he would not give a Hit movie for atleast 8 years (tying with SRK whose last Hit was Happy New Year in 2014 and his next film Pathaan is releasing in 2023).

Akshay didn't give a Hit film between Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996) and Andaaz (2003). That was a gap of seven years. Technically Aamir would likely beat this record even though he didn't do even half number of films and hasn't given even half number of Flops compared to Akshay during this period.

Since he takes some much time to make a movie, he can't afford missteps. It's important that whatever he does next, it has to work for him. Taking so much time and still not delivering would result in audience moving on from him. He has to make a comeback fast to not be out of sight and out of mind.

Although if he doesn't want to stay in the race of stardom anymore, there are other options for him like doing a web series, making Mahabharat, shifting to direction etc.

It is said that the actor will return from his vacation and dive into the making of his next film. The film is said to be inspired by the 2018 Spanish film, Campeones. The film revolves around a temperamental basketball coach who forms a team comprising intellectually-disabled players for the Special Olympics. It is said that the shoot is likely to begin in October.

YET more practically he should do Something else like enter the big boss house as a contestant to revive his career and at the same time get to know the housemates and study them and make a movie on his crazy times in the house ? Plus, it will give him isolation to the house side world!!
