Personally I loved this film.. it has its heart in the right place! A soulful and beautiful film , which leaves you with a wholesome feel.. ❤️

Went with my mom and my grandma, and they loved the film to bits. They can't stop raving about the film since coming out of the hall ! They loved it so much that they want to see it again.

Forrest Gump had bored me, and I was unable to finish the film when I had watched it years ago. But with LSC, I didn't feel bored even a bit. The film obviously had flaws, it's not a perfect film w.r.t facts/logic.. but still the suspension of disbelief is not impossible when you get engrossed into the world created by this film.

Aamir's acting was weak, but surprisingly it didn't take away from my movie watching experience. Kareena though! She looked so so beautiful...no way did she seem like a 45 year old. And her acting was awesome. Mona Singh shined in her role..loved her too. ❤️

LSC gets 4/5 stars from me. 👍🏼

The film was heartwarming Kareena Mona, young Laal and Aman were nice.

I loved the songs, especially phir na aisi raat

They did adapt the movie to the events in India e.g. Indira assassination

Rupa was a lovable and mysterious character who had many shades for Kareena to portray.

Aamir did convey Laal’s innocence was good in some scenes apart from being wide eyed, saying hmm and aao very frequently.
In the childhood scenes Mona does a great job of portraying a mother’s unconditional love and steals the show in that portion. Young laal and rupa are cute too. I liked Rupa’s laugh

Chay’s role was a bit weird I didn't like the pant vest idea it was cringeworthy. Manav has a nice role I liked his change of heart
Spoilers below

Most of the script is the same as the original apart from Rupa’s character and Laal-Bala’s business idea
I didn’t understand why Rupa didnt leave that creep earlier than she did (after he didnt get her a lead role) and why was she punished if she didn’t kill anyone. I also don’t understand how Rupa stayed with that man after he hit her knowing from her own childhood the consequences of a physically abusive relationship

LSC is a beautiful movie..!! I just cannot understand what is going on with the audience..first 83 and now LSC..both movies were just so nice and with its heart in the right place..but somehow did not connect with the masses? I don’t even see any major flaw in Aamir’s acting..I think the boycott culture is real and the audience just wants to see South movies..it’s fine..Bollywood will find its way back and LSC might become a hit on OTT..btw Kareena looks absolutely gorgeous …like a dream!

Not a bad movie. Storyline is not as bad. Songs are okay also. Movie has its own moments.

Aamir's wide eye habit and the "hmm/aaho" lines were a bit repetitive and Rupa's character could've left the earlier. Rupa does have her shady moments but I felt as if she could've left the creep earlier when she knew about the sleazy habits. Mona singh did nice job as LSC's mother, trying to be the strong mother yet her vulnerabilities were visible when her child was mocked or during the Anti-sikh riots in 1984. Even the moment when LSC's mother was on her deathbed with LSC by her side, that was nice. I felt the scenes army day was bit overdone at times, especially trying to exude the humor out of it but still okay. The friend, Bala's arc was somewhat weird. Childhood story of LSC wasn't badly executed ---some, nice moments there.
